Some of the most touching moments i have experienced yet. Kumud Mishra is fantastic. That moment where he cries out that Eigya didn't tell him his grandson's name will stay with me for a long, long time. Well done!

I thought the play was extremely well-written. And spare, and terse, holding it's emotions tightly in rein, violent too. I saw the 6 pm show and thought the play was in place but didn't catch fire, which I heard happened at 9 pm

What a unique theme... but better still were the undercurrents that were not as obvious. I loved the realistic but yet abstract nature of the play. The character of Luwangcha and Aayya (The grandfather of the dead child) was brilliant. It was a heavy play and by the end of it I felt positively uncomfortable. I guess this was the purpose of the play- to make one think and feel...and that is what happened to me. Overall the performances were good and the set was innovative.

I didnt get all fired up in the 6pm show, but the one at 9 was awesome. I guess it becomes better with every show. What I really liked was how much was left unsaid about the issues and problems that Manipuris face, the home grown racism, insurgency, politics. Requires some knowledge of the state of affairs in Manipur to really appreciate the play.
