Excellently directed, the text crackles with suppressed red-hot intensity, the actors were fabulous, ankur was mind-blowing, especially in his tender moments. a very original voice, highly exciting.
zamiel's gift of 'a moment' to jojo at an extreme height hit the core of his character and that was worthy to me. during that taut length of a scene, the innate difference between the two characters popped out ...
You yearn for the presence of a soul somewhere in the play ... i saw the play with a pre-dominantly young audience, and they all looked set to enjoy it. Every scene ended with the promise of something happening in the next scene, and then the next ... but that promise was not fulfilled. We left with a sense of emptiness ... still looking for that soul to reveal itself.
